2 3/4 cups sifted cake flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter or shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 egg whites, at room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
