Tom Yum Goong

This is one of the best recipes of Thai food. The following are necessary for the recipe.
-Water 4 cups
-Shrimp-1 cup
-Mushrooms-5
-Lime 1 to 2
-Lemongrass-1
-Kaffir lime leaves-3
-Fish sauce-2tbsp
-Sprigs cilantro-5
-Chilli peppers-3
-Nam prig pow-1tbsp

Boil water in a two quart pot. Take the shrimp and peel it and then devein it and keep it aside. Crush the lemon grass with the help of the back of the knife to get the required flavor. Now put the lemon grass in water and bring to boil and allow it to boil for five minutes. Take a bowl and add the fish sauce and the juice of one lemon. Add chilli pepper and crush it.

Now take the khaffir lime leaves and add the leaves to the pot. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into halves. Switch off the stove. Do not overcook lest the food becomes soft and watery.

Take the bowl where you had poured fish sauce. Now take the other ingredients mix and add a scoop to the fish sauce. Serve garnished with lime. The Thai food is ready.
