Learn to prepare yummy and healthy cornbread dressing

Method of Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Blend them well. Put them into non-stick dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until it is light brown and set. Yummy cornbread dressing is ready to serve. Makes about 8 servings. Each serving is cup. Exchange:1 bread and fat.

How to cook crispy and tasty biscuits



Method of Preparation

Mix yeast, water and keep aside for 5 minutes until bubbly. Add butter milk to yeast mixture and keep aside. Take a large bowl and mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Now add butter milk mixture to dry mixture by stirring well to make the dry ingredients are moistened well. Put dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly for about 3 to 4 times. Roll dough to inch thickness cut into 36 rounds or with desired biscuit molds with a 2 inch cutter and keep them on non-stick baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes. Crispy and tasty biscuits are ready to serve. Makes about 36 biscuits. Serving 1 biscuit. Exchange: 1 bread and 1 fat.

Method of Preparation

Take a sauce and mix 1 cup berries, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon and water. Cook in moderate heat until the mixture thickens by stirring constantly. Mix vanilla or almond extract, remaining 2 cups berries and sugar substitute. Mix well. Refrigerate and serve. Tasty berry pudding is ready to eat. Makes about 6 servings. Amount-1/2 cup. Exchange-1 fruit.

Method of Preparation

Sift all dry ingredients together and set aside. In a separate bowl mixall wet ingredients. Mix wet and dry ingredients together and mix well.Pour in a greased and floured cake pan unless using a non-stick pan.Bake at 350 degrees for 25 30 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched in the middle.
