1/2 cup (120 ml) milk, at room temperature
2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
1/2 cup (100 grams) sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
3 cups (375 grams) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon (6 grams) salt
2 teaspoons (10 grams) instant yeast or 1 tablespoon (15 grams) active dry yeast
1/4 cup (27 grams) sesame seeds, optional
1. In the bowl of your stand mixer, whisk together the milk, oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
2. Add the flour, salt and yeast and mix on low speed until everything is combined. Switch to the dough hook and knead for about 5 minutes, until you have a smooth dough. Add some more flour if you feel the dough is somewhat sticky. In case if it is too dry, just add little bit of milk.
3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for about an hour, until doubled in size.
