We are all aware that by not eating the essential nutrients required for our body affects its performance and the total fitness of it. Although to eat healthy foods is essential there are some traditions that obstruct your functioning if you pay heed to them.

Here are some traditional ways of healthy eating:

1. To work on an empty stomach

When you hear a rumbling sound in your stomach, it means it is trying to inform you something and without paying heed to it you are driving your body to run without supply. Always consume a light snack like an apple before you exercise or start any physical activity.

2. To remain on energy bars and drinks
These kinds of foods and drinks do not give the antioxidants you require to prevent cancer and hence can be had only once in a while. The best foods are Fruits and vegetables which are full of vitamins, minerals, fluid, and fiber.

3. To Skip breakfast

To skip the breakfast is not a good habit as it starts the day. Your body needs supply
immediately and without it, you may feel hungry all along the day.

4. Have Low carb diets

As our body needs carbohydrates for the storage of energy and the building up of muscles it is necessary to have foods that are low in carbohydrates.

5. Do not eat anything for want

You just cannot consume whatever you want and exercise to be healthy. Each one of us need the same amount of nutrients for the body even if they exercise or not and should consume fruits and vegetables more.

6. Not too much of calories

Losing excess of calories for the purpose of weight loss is not safe and you should plan to lose only 1-2 pounds a week. Be sure that you are getting required calories to keep you active and if you start losing weight too quickly consume a little more food.

7. Cut off soda and alcohol

The best fluids to be taken for active people are Water, milk and juice which can be taken frequently, and not only when you feel thirsty as by that time your body is running on a bit too low already.

The alterations you make in your eating habits leads to a healthy and good performance from the body. You feel better when you eat healthy. Your age does not a concern but you should try for a healthy eating and see the unbelievable consequences of it which makes you live better.
