Ingredients

Hershey’s Kisses 1 bag (8oz)
Egg (medium) 1 number
Shortening cup
Milk 2 tablespoons
Peanut butter cup
Vanilla 1 teaspoon
Sugar (granulated) 1/3 cup
Flour (all-purpose) 1 cups
Baking soda 1 teaspoon
Packed brown sugar (light) 1/3 cup
Salt teaspoon
Additional granulated sugar

Method of Preparation

Pre-heat the oven to 375F. After removing the candy wrappers, beat peanut butter and shortening together in a bowl until well blended. Separately add1/3 cup of granulated sugar and all the quantity of brown sugar to a bowl and beat till the mixture becomes light and fluffy.

Now add egg, milk and vanilla and beat well again. Add flour, baking soda and salt and stir well. Add this flour mixture to the prepared peanut butter mixture gradually and stir well to make dough.

Make one inch balls out of the dough and shape the balls properly. Roll the balls in the additional granulated sugar and place over ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown colour develops.

Place Hershey’s kiss on top of each cookie when the cookies are still hot and press down so as to get the edges of the cookies cracked. Remove from cookie sheet and transfer to wired racks for cooling completely.
