How to Throw a Memorable Party with Inviting Drink Recipes

There is a lot of fun in throwing a party, in making snacks, a meal, picking a theme, and stocking the bar. If it is the first party, where more than beer and wine will be served it is better to know how to make crowd pleasing recipes helpful to the host or hostess.
It is good for the host or hostess to think or have a pitcher of the drinks in advance. The host or hostess can thus spend more time with the guests. It is real fun to match the drink recipe with the theme of the party.

Party Daiquiri

Daiquiris, versatile and great for parties can be made in a pitcher with lot of ice and guests can help themselves. This is specially nice as it gives the host or hostess the chance to mix and mingle with their guests.

A basic daiquiri recipe comprises a mix of one cup of golden run with three quarters of a cup lime juice and about one third of cup of sugar for every two guests. This drink can be made in a pitcher and poured in to glasses with ice.

Party with Margaritas

Another very versatile drink made in different flavors is by name Margaritas which can be frozen or on the rocks. Any fruit matches well with the tequila in the drink along with endless creative possibilities in the drink recipe.

A basic Margarita has about three cups of tequila one and half cups of triple sec, and three cups of lemon or lime juice. Mix all these in a festive pitcher. This recipe will make twenty drinks. The glasses should be lined with coarse salt or sugar and garnished with a wedge of lemon or lime.

Party Sangria

This drink recipe, Sangria is simple and a party, favorite. It is light and refreshing. This has many twists and suits the partys theme easily. Sangria is served in beautiful glass container showing off the beautiful fruits used to increase its flavor.

Basically Sangria recipe has one bottle of red wine or a bottle of white zinfandel, mixed with the juice of two lemons and two limes, two to four table spoons of sugar and about three cups of soda water. Mix all ingredients well and garnish with lemon peel strips. Serve over ice and make your guests enjoy.
